Message from Dr Jennie Read
To all the individuals that I have had the privilege and pleasure of knowing or treating during my time at Limehouse Practice and who have, in different ways, contributed to my belief in the necessity, purpose and aspiration of primary care, I am now, reluctant to say, moving on.
I would like to thank everyone, whether they be clinical and administrative colleagues, friends or importantly patients, whose positive support, enthusiasm and humour, have been so rewarding throughout my years as a GP.
It is anticipated that I will cease my clinical duties on the 31st March. Although I am sad to leave I have every confidence that the Practice with its highly skilled medical professionals and administrative staff will continue to respond with the same commitment and belief that I hope I have brought to my own medical endeavours.
My very best wishes

Cervical Cytology Screening Results Delays
The Practice would like to inform you at the moment there are considerable delays in reporting cervical samples by the cytology laboratory at the Royal London Hospital. They are currently taking approximately 42 days from the date of receipt to screen and report the routine cervical samples.
We are aware that this will cause anxiety for patients who have to wait much longer for their results. The backlog is a national issue and has resulted due to multiple factors. The Royal London Hospital are working hard putting in implementations for a faster turnaround.
